How it works

Using Tile Mate key finder is simple:

• First attach the Tile Mate tracker to your keys, backpacks, purses, or whatever.
• Install the Tile Mate free App on your phone to track the location of your belongingness.
• When you miss your tracked key or wallet just tap “find” in the Tile app.
• The App will locate your missed stuff and make the Tile tracking piece attached to your keys ring if it’s within a 250 ft / 76 m Bluetooth range. You can also track how far you are from your keys as you get closer.
• If your tracked things are outside of the Bluetooth range, you can use the Tile app to view their most recent location on the map.
• If it’s your smartphone that you are tracking, you can double-press the logo button on your Tile to make your phone ring, even when it’s on silent.

You can tap “Notify When Found” on your App so that the Tile community (including everyone using a phone with the Tile app installed) can help locate your lost item and send location updates to your Tile app anonymously.

You can also add your contact information so you can be reached when someone scans the QR code on your lost Tile.

With the Tile premium plans, you will get proactive Smart Alert notifications when you leave your items behind, and Tile company will even reimburse you if they can’t find your Tiled item.
