When your drink reaches the preferred temperature you have defined, the Ember mug will inform you with its nice LED light so you start enjoying your drink. 

Ember can keep your drink hot for up to 1.5 hours on a full charge or all day on its charging coaster and it enters sleep mode when empty or after 2 hours of inactivity then it wakes up again when it senses movement or noise around or when there is a liquid inside.
