• “For a Honda Fit, the bottom rubber pads that are meant to protect your car, do not make contact with the door. Instead, the plastic arms lay against the door. It hasn’t damaged the car. Also, since my car is low to the ground, a few inches of my wetsuit lay on the ground when hanging from the rack. It would work better for a car or truck with more ground clearance without any curvature in the door below the mirror.”
